We can prepare for some things
in life, but can we plan for the unexpected?
We're working together with the
emergency services and other agencies to make sure we're as ready
as we can be in the event of an emergency or major incident.
A key agency jointly funded by local
councils, the emergency services and local health bodies whose role
is to make Staffordshire prepared is the Civil Contingencies Unit
(CCU), based at Stafford Fire Station.
We have plans to manage the most
likely risks to affect Staffordshire and we train throughout the
year to make sure we're ready.
