The Private Water Supplies Regulations 2009 set out a number of fees that may be charged for the operation of this service.  Schedule 5 of the Regulations specifies the maximum fee that may be charged for each element of the service and is detailed below alongside the fees that will be charged by South Staffordshire Council.

 

Sampling fees have two parts to it, the service charge and the analysis.  For example in relation to a single dwelling:

 

Routine sampling (£30) + Analysis (£30)  = £60

 

all charges subject to vat.
