Recording and Reporting of Equality and Diversity Incidents

As part of our Council-wide commitment to respond to all types of harassment in the workplace, we have reporting procedures in place for all forms of discrimination which;

  • Enables reporting of any incident of discrimination, harassment or victimisation on the basis of a protected characteristic, as defined in the Equality Act 2010.
  • Enables those dealing with the recording of any incident involving perceived harassment

These procedures support the requirements of the Human Rights Act as well as the Equality act 2010 and meets the requirements of the Councils vision and values as set out in the Equality and Diversity Policy.
