Information on our customers

The South Staffordshire Partnership provides a valuable source of information about the people of South Staffordshire.  It is a shared partnership information resource designed to facilitate the sharing of data and intelligence between partners in South Staffordshire.  It has an interactive website designed to provide a ‘one stop shop’ of information about the area.

The website can be accessed by clicking on the following link: http://www.southstaffspartnership.co.uk/

We know that the different areas of South Staffordshire have different needs, issues and priorities and to help us meet these needs the Council works in serving five locality areas across the district.

These are:

Locality 1

Acton Trussell, Bednall & Teddesley Hay, Dunston with Coppenhall, Hatherton, Huntingoton, Penkridge

Locality 2

Blymhill & Weston under Lizard, Brewood & Coven, Lapley, Stretton & Wheaton Aston

Locality 3

Cheslyn Hay, Essington, Featherstone, Great Wyrley, Hilton, Saredon and Shareshill

Locality 4

Bilbrook, Codsall, Pattingham & Patshull and Perton

Locality 5

Bobbington, Enville, Himley, Kinver, Lower Penn, Swindon, Trysull & Seisdon and Wombourne

A key element of Locality working is the collection of data, which allows us to build up the intelligence within the individual localities and helps support the development of future priorities.  The Locality Data Profiles are produced annually and are continually updated and the profiles contain data broken down to ward level where possible, on a range of issues affecting the area to help with decision making and service delivery.

The profiles also contain some equality and diversity information e.g. age, disability and long-term health, race and sex.

The full data and intelligence held for the locality areas can be found by clicking on this link: South Staffordshire Partnership/Locality Data and individual locality data sets can be found by clicking on the links below:

The Council also has strong links with the Staffordshire Observatory which is run by Staffordshire County Council.

The team work in partnership with all districts in the Staffordshire County to help provide in-depth, high quality insight into Staffordshire’s people and places, to facilitate effective and tailored service delivery at local level.  The website provides comprehensive data on the population of Staffordshire along with data on households, BME and unemployment rates.

The website can be accessed at http://www.staffordshireobservatory.org.uk/.

The following link also shows Equality and Diversity statistics for South Staffordshire taken from 2011 ONS Census: Census Stats for South Staffs.

In addition to the above the Council has produced a detailed Customer Insight report that provides a general overview of residential data across the District.

This can be accessed by clicking on the following link: Customer Insight.
