What can I do with hazardous waste?

Hazardous household waste can be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centres sites located across Staffordshire.

Please take due care when transporting the above items. Speak with a member of staff on arrival at the site and clearly state what item you are depositing.

Note: Household Waste Recycling Centres will only accept household hazardous waste.  Commercial waste will not be taken. Due to space restrictions, it may be necessary to check that capacity is available before transporting hazardous waste to the site.

Household Waste Recycling Centre staff may ascertain the nature of the hazardous waste taken. Hazardous waste generated from commercial use must be disposed of through a private contractor. The Environment Agency links below includes a full list of licensed waste carriers.
