Business in the Community

Business Support Community

South Staffordshire Work Clubs exist to provide vital support to local residents wanting to seek employment and/or be given an opportunity that could change their lives for the better.

The Work Clubs are always in need of support from local business. There a few ways your business can get involved...

1)  If your business can offer essential support, either through volunteering experiences and/or mentoring opportunities, the Work Clubs would be delighted to hear from you.

2)  As a registered charity and driven by volunteers from the local community, the work clubs run with very limited resource. If your business would like to help fund a Work Club so they can provide light refreshments and essential stationary, the Work Clubs would be grateful of your support.

3) The Work Clubs welcome businesses to send through any job opportunities so those people attending have the opportunity to apply for paid employment.

4) Attend a work club to talk about your business, what you look for from an employee and promote any employment opportunities.

Supporting the Work Clubs is a great way your business can really support the prosperity of the local community! In return, your business will receive a host of promotional benefits.  To find out more or to get involved, simply complete the 'expression of interest' form below and a member of the team will contact you to discuss your support in more detail.

Supporting our future workforce

Business and Schools

As a business, you can play a vital role in supporting schools to educate and inspire young people with the vital skills and knowledge they will need when entering the world of work.

In partnership with the Chase Chamber of Commerce, the Southern Staffordshire Schools and Business Forum exists to build links between schools and businesses to help bridge the skills gap that is facing many businesses and contribute to a skilled workforce to drive future economic growth.

The forum needs more local businesses to get involved. If you can help conduct mock interviews, support the Young Enterprise Programme, offer company tours to support career choice, be a Dragon at school events or simply visit schools to talk about your businesses and what you look for in an employee, we would love to hear from you.

Please get in touch...
